GE Loto Technician

Job Summary:

New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a GE LOTO/Wind Technician for a full-time position with our client. This role requires travel between Texas and the Dakotas and involves performing troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and maintenance on onshore wind turbines to ensure optimal functionality. The technician will work as part of a crew to resolve technical issues and maintain wind energy infrastructure.

Hours & Compensation:

• Hours: 10-12 per day (project dependent)
• Pay Rate: $31.00 - $35.00/hour (W2)
• Per Diem: $130/day

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and emergency repairs up-tower to ensure turbine functionality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on onshore wind turbines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures for safety and compliance.
• Work collaboratively within a crew to complete repair and maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry safety standards and company protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a wind technician, with expertise in GE turbines preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with LOTO procedures and wind turbine safety protocols.
• Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively between Texas and the Dakotas.
• Certifications in wind energy maintenance or related fields are a plus.
