CRNA Need in Malone NY

Job Summary:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy facility with a diverse case mix, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, urology, and more. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with 4 operating rooms and one endoscopy suite. You will be part of a team providing quality care to a broad range of patients, including managing anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia and provide care during surgeries in 4 operating rooms and one endoscopy suite
• Manage anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics, GI, podiatry, obstetrics, and urology cases
• Respond to call with a 15-minute response time, covering call shifts of 30 minutes
• Place central lines as needed for patient care
• Assist with 300 annual deliveries, with fewer than one-third being C-sections
• Maintain safe anesthesia practices for pediatric patients under 12 months of age, though children under 6 months will not be included

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active NY State License required
• Experience with the placement of central lines
• Strong clinical background in anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and urology
• Ability to respond promptly and efficiently to emergency call needs
• Experience in managing a variety of patient ages, with minimal pediatric care for children under 6 months
