NP/PA Locums need in New York, NY for Primary Care

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled NP/PA for a 1099 Locums Contract position in New York, NY. The role is for Primary Care in an Employee Health Clinic, where you will be providing care to employees and their families. The contract runs from 1/13/25 to 3/14/25, with daily shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break. The clinic uses EPIC for its electronic medical records (EMR), and there may be potential for long-term opportunities beyond this contract.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services to employees and their families in a clinic setting
• Perform routine exams, diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and offer preventive care
• Conduct Well Women Exams, as needed (preferred but not required)
• Manage patient records and documentation using EPICEMR system
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
• Adhere to the clinic’s schedule and provide exceptional care within the specified working hours

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New York State Licenseas a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Board Certificationas an NP or PA
• At least 1 year of experiencein primary care as an NP/PA
• Experience with Well Women Examsis a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees and their families
• Proficiency in using EPICEMR system
