Civil Project Manager

Job Summary:

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Civil Project Manager for a full-time position with our client in the Milwaukee, WI area. This role will provide leadership, project management, and construction administration services for major building renovations, additions, new construction, and green infrastructure district initiatives. The Civil Project Manager will oversee contractors and design professionals throughout all project phases, ensuring adherence to guidelines, specifications, and construction standards while maintaining project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring successful execution from planning to completion.
• Oversee and coordinate the performance of contractors, design professionals, and construction teams.
• Collaborate with designers, planners, engineers, and trade personnel to maintain construction standards and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the Department of Facilities and Maintenance Services, ensuring project goals and deadlines are met.
• Conduct site visits, manage risks, and implement solutions to address project challenges.
• Ensure quality control, cost efficiency, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, construction administration, or civil engineering.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
• Experience working with contractors, designers, and engineers in a collaborative setting.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and construction documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with stakeholders and teams.

Salary:

• $85,000 – $110,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
